WP 7 – Comprehensive Patient Journeys
Testbed Sweden will review and propose how to align guidelines, standardized care processes and national clinical registries to the Precision Health context in collaboration with e.g. The Confederation of Regional Cancer Centres at the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (Partner Vision Zero Cancer) and The National Board of Health and Welfare (Observer in Testbed Sweden).
Key Activities & Deliverables:
Update the standardized care processes and develop more concrete guidelines regarding multidisciplinary conferences while making sure they are compatible with the changes in healthcare that precision medicine implies. Include evaluation measures such as reported QoL (quality of life), information delivered from predictive algorithms on reported symptoms.
Map current care flows, national care programs and standardized care processes to align and create support for individualized care and treatments based on molecular profile and supported by ePROS´s (symptom monitoring)
Validation of usage of patient reported outcome (PROM) as a tool in precision oncology in a Swedish context
A comparison of outcome data such as overall survival based on a precision oncology approach compared to traditional approach
